Xiangyang Fourth Middle School Relocation Project BIM application

First prize of Hubei Construction Engineering Competition

The relocation project of Xiangyang Fourth Middle School is located in Panggong New District, Xiangcheng District, with Dongjin Bridge Inner Ring Road in the south and Panggong Highway in the west. The design concept of the vestibule and backyard is adopted as a whole, and the main functions are divided into teaching area, living area and sports area. The total investment is 814 million yuan, the total construction area is 120,000 square meters, and it is composed of 18 single buildings.

In this project, in accordance with the management core of the project "three controls, three managements and one coordination", combined with the characteristics of the project, the BIM application points are summarized into three categories, including design visible, controllable construction, and traceable information, and 16 small items.Based on the BIM model, carry out road analysis, sunlight analysis, material selection analysis, etc., to provide the feasibility of the plan from the perspective of architectural modeling and multi-level communication space; make full use of BIM intelligent software to improve the ability to write plans; assist on-site construction through the project BIM platform Management, to be reasonable and well-documented. Great achievements have been made in terms of project duration, cost, quality, and social and economic benefits.

The new Hubei Science and Technology Museum is located in the central city of Optics Valley, Wuhan, with a total land area of about 190,000 square meters and a total construction area of 72,000 square meters. It consists of three parts: the main science and technology exhibition hall, a dome theater, and a landscape bridge. After completion, it will become nationallyamong the five major science and technology museums, it has become the largest and most advanced science and technology exhibition hall and educational center in the central region.

Through the use of structural mechanics analysis, construction simulation , finite element analysis of super large-diameter spherical reinforced concrete spherical shell structure, and deepening of double-spiral curtain wall aluminum panels, a series of BIM technology applications have optimized construction procedures, reduced construction difficulty and cost, and reduced resource waste.

Comprehensive application of BIM technology in Tongcheng County Financial Headquarters Media Center Project

Second Prize of the First BIM Competition of China Construction Industry Association

The Tongcheng County Financial Headquarters Media Center project is located on the north side of Yinshan Square in Tongcheng County, Hubei Province. Hubei Industrial Construction Group Co., Ltd. is responsible for construction. The total construction area of the project is 60,727 square meters, of which the total construction area above ground is 47957.48 square meters, and the total construction area underground is 12,769.49 square meters.Including 2 residential buildings, 2 commercial buildings, 1 studio, 2 office buildings and a basement. After completion, it will become a new landmark in the regional office cluster of Tongcheng County.

In this project, through the application of BIM technology and BIM management platform, a series of technical problems in the project were solved and the foundation was laid for the smooth progress of the project. At the same time, a series of relatively mature BIM and actual business workflows are summarized, which provides a beneficial reference for applying BIM technology and BIM management platform to optimize project management and control mode.

The first phase of the Xi'an International Port District Project will build a 3*29MW gas hot water boiler and related auxiliary facilities. The completion of the Xi'an International Port project will effectively improve the quality of life of regional residents and improve the service quality of surrounding hospitals and schools. At the same time, the Xi'an International Port project undertakes the heavy responsibility of heating the sports venues of the 2021 National Games. The project has great responsibility and far-reaching significance.

The first phase of the ecological zone of Xi'an International Port Area, Through the BIM model,combined with the Internet of Things, big data platform and digital management technology, a BIM construction management platform was formed. Through this platform, project management personnel can call various information at any time, coordinate the conflicts and progress of various participants, and simulate visual analysis of building space, facility location, and 4D construction operation process.

Exploration of BIM Technology Smart Management System

This project is located in Wuhan Optics Valley. It is a comprehensive industrial service platform based on computer simulation, development and design invested by Yihua Group according to the industrial development layout and technological upgrading needs.

There are a large number of professional subcontractors involved in the construction of the project, and there are greater challenges in the coordination and management of the general contractor. The use of BIM technology to comprehensively deepen equipment pipelines and rationally optimize the construction sequence is the core of improving the efficiency of general contract management.During the earthwork excavation phase of the project, the planned construction period is tight, the amount of earthwork is large, and there is no temporary storage yard around the project. The earth transportation routes need to be transported all the way through Optics Valley. The traffic pressure is high and the distance between the tower cranes is close, which brings difficulties to the simultaneous construction of the building.

In the process, BIM information integration technology was also used to set up a project information collaboration environment to improve management collaboration efficiency. As a key project promotion project of smart construction, it is committed to using smart construction site technology to explore new types of general contracting management, assisting project production, and conducting risk management and control.
